Randy began his career working for a regional CPA firm in Salt Lake City that focused on small businesses and Casinos. During his career, he has worked as a CPA for US Steel, Regional Controller for Baker Hughes Inteq and recently as a Budget Officer for the Federal Government - while still preparing Tax Returns and doing consulting on the side for small businesses and individuals. In December 2022, he joined Frost Dana Newman. He offers Tax Preparation, quarterly estimates, bookkeeping, payroll services and consulting.
Randy earned a bachelor’s degree and a Master’s of Professional Accounting from Weber State University. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Utah and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He and his wife have been married over 30 years and have 7 children and currently 3 grandchildren. He loves to bike with his wife, hike with his kids, spend time in the outdoors and goes backpacking with his family every summer.
